My name is Edina Hodžić and I am the founder of diversfyi. Over the course of many years I realised a growing desire for more authenticity, balance and zest in my life though it wasn’t until I became a mother in 2016 that my journey of self transformation started. In 2017 I decided to leave my 12+ years corporate career and I founded diversfyi. This decision led to years of personal transformation and an extensive study of metaphysics, psychology and spiritual science which I have combined into the authentic energy compass™ method that is at the core of diversfyi services.
I hold a masters degree from Erasmus University and Rotterdam School of Management and have worked in consultancy and corporate business for more than 12 years in the areas of leadership development, project management and strategic change. My catalysing manifestor energy, holistic intelligence, practical wisdom and my deep understanding of human energy patterns and psychology makes me a powerful coach, consultant and mentor to those who seek more personal freedom, vitality and success.
my childhood
I was born in 1981 in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Hercegovina. I grew up in a safe environment enjoying nature and playing with my friends. When I was 10 years old my country Bosnia was impacted by a horrific war that left a deep scar on my soul. I witnessed an united country being torn apart by religious labels. I didn’t understand it because for me all people were the same despite the labels that they identified with. I remember asking my mother one morning during the war ‘Mom, which religion is my best friend, Sonja?’ She answered me and without even grasping the meaning of this answer I knew that my innocence was taken away. We lived in a cold basement (because of the continuous grenade showers) for some months where my imagination was replaced by thoughts about violence, shortage of food supplies, longing to play with my friends etc. After some months my parents decided to look for ‘temporary’ refuge in another country in order to keep us safe. My aunt was living in the Netherlands at that time and welcomed us for a visit which ended up becoming our permanent residence by the end of 1992. We started a new chapter in our lives. This period was tough, I still remember the moments when I felt the despair of my parents being torn between the grief of their loss, the guilt about their loved ones who were left behind and worries about their future. From witnessing the pain of my parents, I unconsciously decided that I would create a successful life for myself because success would bring me safety and security which I deeply longed for. At that time, I didn’t have my own definition of ‘success’ so I followed the conditioning of my parents, teachers and the society in terms of ‘success’: higher education and hard work.
In 2004 I graduated from Erasmus University and Rotterdam School of Management and started my corporate career in Consulting and worked for Fortune 500 Companies.
motherhood = catalyst for my transformation
What I didn’t prepare for, is the deeply transformative experience of becoming a mother in 2016. After the birth of my son I returned to my corporate career to find myself questioning the importance of my work and if I was making any valuable impact. It was on an early 2017 on a sunny winter morning on my way to work that I suddenly experienced a deep feeling of emptiness calling me. A few weeks later I boldly decided to leave my corporate career and to step into the unknown. For the first time I allowed myself to feel what my body was telling me.
entrepreneurship
End of 2017 I gave birth to my first entrepreneurial project: diversfyi with the idea to contribute to more diversity in the world. My entrepreneurship journey started with several (health) challenges which pushed me on a journey of deep personal growth. I came face to face with my fears, shadows and self-limiting beliefs and learned the importance of energetic vitality. The human design method served as a powerful catalyst during my process of transformation and that is why I use it in the transformative work with my clients.
The practical wisdom from my personal transformation journey, the knowledge from my metaphysical studies, my intuitive intelligence and my manifestor energy serve me in powerful ways when it comes to activating my clients into more abundance, personal freedom, vitality and success.
